It features the death certificates of 185 of the world's best-known movie stars, writers, directors, singers, and gossip columnists.

Each entry has a brief biography and includes deaths as recent as the murder-suicide of Phil and Brynn Harman, and the shooting of Bonnie Bakley. From 1957 until 1990, Abbott & Hast participated in nine of these services.
